The water at Wilson's Wharf is legendarily filthy. I know people who'll swear they've seen bodies floating by. That's not much of a draw, but luckily the Wharf itself, off Victoria Embankment, is much prettier and more enticing. There are plenty of places to choose from, but if you go all the way down to the end, you'll find Zack's, where the party always seems to be a bit bigger. This Durban restaurant-cum-cocktail bar has a large menu of fusion food and elaborate cocktails that are more than enough to keep you busy. But added to the mix is live music, including open mic nights on Mondays and live bands most weekends. All seating is outdoor, heaters are provided. Safe parking available.
